    This recipe was an experiment gone right, not only right, a home run! We took our homemade rum cake recipe, nixed the rum, and added fresh lemon juice. We make a lemon syrup with butter, sugar and fresh lemon juice. The syrup seeps down into the cake like a sponge. This moist cake will melt in your mouth and perk a kiss on your front porch.

    Sweet, a little tart & definitely satisfying

    We have a "sweet tooth" at our house. Enjoying this slice of yummy lemon pound cake put smiles on both of our faces. It was moist, flavorful and definitely large enough for us to share. As has been the case since we started using FPP last September, the service could not be better!
