Hickory Brisket, Au Gratin Potatoes, Baked Beans - Front Porch Pantry

Hickory Brisket, Au Gratin Potatoes, Baked Beans

Real barbecue brisket takes patience, smoke, and a commitment to doing it right — and this plate has all three.

We start with a quality cut of beef brisket and smoke it low and slow over real hickory wood until it reaches that deep, fall-apart tenderness that only time and smoke can build. Each slice is finished with garlic butter, toasted peppercorns, and a sprig of thyme, then served alongside a cognac peppercorn sauce for a rich, savory finish. The au gratin potatoes are made from scratch with sliced Idaho russets, cream, butter, and a generous layer of Wisconsin cheddar baked until golden. House-made baked beans round out the plate for a complete, satisfying barbecue spread.

This is the kind of meal that earns a spot at the weekend table or makes a weeknight feel like a genuine occasion, no smoker required. Always made fresh in our Dallas kitchen and delivered chilled, never frozen, straight to your front porch across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

This was awesome!

You’ve spoiled us! The brisket slices in our order had lots of fat hiding under the yummy bbq sauce. After removing the fat, there was only enough brisket for one not very hungry person instead of the generous serving we are accustomed to getting. The beans & scalloped potatoes were OK, not great. Surely hope the order we received was a “fluke” & not the beginning of a downhill slide.

This was such a good meal, and the brisket was so tender, and we loved the side dishes very much.

We really enjoy the food from Front Porch Pantry, but we do have a question concerning the plastic wrap over the food container as we struggle to remove the plastic. Is there a secret to the removal as it tends to stick and then rips into small pieces along the sides of the container that then need to be scraped off.
