Tender chuck steak is slow-cooked until it practically falls apart, then crowned with a house-made French demi-glace built from beef bone broth, butter, flour, red wine, and tomato paste. It's then layered with onions, shallots, garlic, and a full mirepoix stock that then is reduced four times for a deep, concentrated sauce that coats every bite. Alongside it: red skin potatoes, sweet baby carrots, and green beans sauteed with oven-roasted onions for a complete, balanced plate.

Oven: Remove sleeve, cut film away from corner edge with knife, and remove. Place on oven sheet pan. Heat on 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes until hot. Heat to 165 degrees. Remove tray on pan DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LIFT TRAY BY ITSELF. LIFT TRAY ON MICROWAVABLE PLATE OR OVEN SAFE PAN. USE HOT PADS TO REMOVE.

Microwave: Remove sleeve, lift the corner of film, place on microwave plate, microwave for 2 minutes or until hot, cut film away from corner edge with knife, and remove. Let stand for 2 minutes. Based on a 1100 watt microwave oven. DO NOT LIFT TRAY, LIFT ON MICROWAVABLE PLATE

The gravy was delicious on the meat and potatoes. Carrots and green beans that were not cooked in the gravy were good. Not fond of the ones in gravy.
