French Marchand de Vin Beef and Rice - Front Porch Pantry

French Marchand de Vin Beef and Rice

Notify me when this product is available:

Marchand de vin, the wine merchant's sauce, is a cornerstone of New Orleans French Quarter cooking — and this is that classic done with real intention.

We build the sauce from a dark roux, then deepen it with beef au jus, a pour of French Bordeaux wine, sautéed mushrooms, and honey smoked ham, finished with fresh herbs and house seasonings for a sauce that is genuinely rich and layered. It all comes together over slow-cooked chuck roast, hand-cut into tender steak tips and served over a bed of white rice that soaks up every bit of that savory, wine-braised depth.

Enough for 2, this is the perfect meal when you want something special waiting after a long day. Always made fresh in our Dallas kitchen and delivered chilled, never frozen, straight to your front porch across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
