Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Okra, Cornmeal Gravy

Front Porch Pantry is known for our delicious fresh recipes with a southern flair! This new recipe is truly simply southern with a country flair! Angus top round steak is tenderized, seasoned soaked in buttermilk, lightly dredge in seasoned flour, Ritz crackers, and pan fried in canola oil. Served with homemade mashed potatoes, country cornmeal gravy and freshly fried okra. YUM!

 

Trays are oven and microwave friendly. 

Microwave: Remove sleeve, lift the corner of film, place on microwave plate, microwave for 2 minutes or until hot, cut film away from corner edge with knife, and remove. Let stand for 2 minutes. Based on a 1100 watt microwave oven. DO NOT LIFT TRAY, LIFT ON MICROWAVABLE PLATE.

Oven: Remove sleeve, cut film away from corner edge with knife, and remove. Place on oven sheet pan. Heat on 350°F degrees for 20 - 25 minutes until hot. Heat to 165°F degrees (Internal Temperature). Remove tray on pan DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LIFT TRAY BY ITSELF. LIFT TRAY ON MICROWAVABLE PLATE OR OVEN SAFE PAN. USE HOT PADS TO REMOVE.

Ingredients: Beef, potatoes, okar, flour, cornmeal, Ritz cracker crumbs, buttermilk, sour cream, eggs, milk, beef broth, onions, garlic, shallots, canola oil, corn oil, sugar, baking soda, corn syrup, bacon drippings, fresh herbs, house seasonings. Contains: Wheat, Milk, Eggs, Soy

I thought I had died and gone to redneck heaven when I had this menu. Everything was great, potatoes creamy, okra tasted fresh and gravy topped it all off. Will definitely order again!
