Our amazing Beef Ossobuco is our featured recipe this week. We start with center cut bone in beef shanks, lightly dredge in seasoned flour and pan sear to form a rich brown crust. We add delicious Amarone wine making a flavorful reduction with garlic, shallots, fresh aromatic herbs and a mirepoix of veggies consisting of onions, carrots, and celery. We slow simmer for hours in the rich delicious gravy until fork tender. Each bite will practically melt in your mouth with incredible flavor. The defining flavor is the infusion of the marrow-filled bone. The dish is served without the bone, making more room for tender meat and gravy.
